James K. Yang is an accomplished product, UX/UI, and brand director with a proven track record of leading user experiences and design systems for digital products, from initial discovery to execution. With extensive experience working with renowned organizations such as Meta, Ford, Nike, Converse, Verizon, John Varvatos, Calvin Klein, Sesame Street, Seaworld, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, E*Trade, and many more, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any project he undertakes.

Beyond his professional work, James is also a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability and social responsibility. As the founder of Lazy Green, , an educational platform that helps "lazy environmentalists" save energy, he has earned a Webby Award nomination alongside esteemed organizations such as National Geographic, WWF, and NASA. It was also featured in Webby for Good. Additionally, his e-commerce venture, Hope / No Fear, donates 100% of its net profit to providing food for people who are starving in Haiti's La Gonave Island, feeding hundreds of families, including children, older adults, people with disabilities, and single mothers.

Before embarking on his design career, James served in the military as a platoon leader of 16 soldiers in a KATUSA(Korean Augmentation Troops to the U.S. Army) unit. He reported directly to the company commander, delivering and managing commands while training and mentoring soldiers. His diverse background and leadership experience have honed his abilities to excel in complex and demanding environments, and he consistently rises to any challenge with a combination of intelligence, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
